What I can tell you is that the PS2 game is a OK production. I played the PS2 version and from what I know, the PS3, X360, and Wii versions are significantly different, and I know nothing about them.

The gun fires 9x19mm Parabellum rounds and can be equipped with a suppressor. This is the current-generation P99, instead of his usual 1st generation that he has carried since Tomorrow Never Dies. The Walther P99AS appears in the game as Bond's standard sidearm, simply under the name P99. Also of note are correct fire selector switches on most applicable weapons, although they are not necessarily animated. Similar to the Rainbow Six: Vegas series, the game is primarily a first person shooter, but when in cover, the game will transition to third person, allowing Bond to blind fire and showing off the (for the time) very detailed Daniel Craig model made specifically for the game.
